Karen enjoys sharing her passion for dance and since opening the doors to the Jay School of Dance in 2012, she has created an inclusive school that gives dancers of all ages and abilities an opportunity to share in her passion and have a sense of belonging.
In 2024 Karen entered onto the next phase of the Schools journey and asked Summer Clark who trained and gained her Comdance Teaching Diploma while a student of the Jay School, if she would like to take up a partnership in the School that she gladly accepted.
Miss Summer

Miss Summer started her teaching career at The Jay School Of Dance in 2016. She has just recently accepted the offer at the start of 2024 to become partnership with Karen which she was overly delighted about. Summer has completed all her Comdance Jazz and Tap exams, she then went on to completing her Teachers certificate in Jazz and then also completed her Teachers Diploma in Jazz in 2022 making her a full member of Comdance. Summer has also completed all of her Cecchetti Ballet exams. She has also currently passed her Acrobatic Arts teaching exam.
Miss Summer adores her involvement within the school and thrives on the connection she has with her students. She loves sharing her knowledge with her students and encourages them to achieve their goals. She is so proud of the warm, friendly family environment Karen has created so far for the studio and she can't wait to help contribute to this.
